Shipping Your King Cake

Caluda’s King Cakes ships exclusively with FedEx service to all 48 continental United States. Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska may be available, but additional costs may apply. Online ordering with shipping is available 24/7. Caluda’s King Cakes is NOT responsible for Fedex delays. Fedex will not issue a refund on cakes that arrive late. They still honor refunds for damaged cakes and/or missing cakes.  NOTE:  We do NOT ship to PO boxes
 All Caluda's King Cakes are baked the day they are shipped out to guarantee the best overall taste and freshness on arrival. They are also all delivered as DIY kits to ensure they arrive in the best condition possible.  We take pride in the preparation of our king cakes. All king cakes are made to order, so please allow at least two days from the day of placing your order for us to make and ship your cake.

All of our king cakes are shipped as DIY kits so they travel better and stay fresher. Occasionally, shipping can be a little rough, and decorations may shift. The good news? Your cake is still delicious and can easily be reassembled and decorated at home. Unfortunately, shipping damage does happen from time to time and is out of our control.

While rare, this can happen due to simple human error. Because of the nature of our production process, we are unable to send a replacement cake if the baby is missing. We sincerely apologize and appreciate your understanding.

Room temperature (counter): up to 3 days
Freezer: up to 6 months

Super easy:

  1. Leave the cake wrapped in the bag it arrived in
  2. Keep the icing and sugars sealed
  3. Place directly in the freezer

When you’re ready to enjoy it, remove the cake from the freezer a few hours ahead of time, let it thaw, then decorate and enjoy.
